Cookie policy
This Cookie Policy explains what browser storage alusia.net uses, for which purposes, for how long, and how you can change your decision. Our default is minimal: nothing non-essential runs until you opt in.
1. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies and similar browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) are small pieces of data a website stores in your browser to keep state - such as staying signed in - or, on many sites, to analyze and track. Alusia uses browser storage sparingly and shows a consent banner before anything non-essential is set.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary (always on, no consent required): the authentication session that keeps you signed in, the record of your cookie decision, and security-related state. Functional, analytics, and marketing storage: none is currently in use; if any is introduced it will remain off until you opt in through the banner, and this policy and the banner will name it specifically.
3. Storage durations
The authentication session lasts as long as your sign-in (refreshed while you use the Service, removed on sign-out). Your cookie decision is stored for at most 12 months, after which the banner asks again. Session-scoped state (for example an invitation being carried through sign-in) is removed when the browser tab session ends.
4. Changing or withdrawing your decision
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the page footer, which reopens the same preferences dialog the banner offers. Withdrawing consent takes effect immediately for future storage; you can additionally clear existing storage in your browser settings.
