Documentation

The essentials for getting an Alusia workspace from empty to answering. Full reference documentation grows alongside the product.

Getting started

Create your organization, upload PDF, DOCX, TXT, or Markdown files, and watch each document move through extraction, chunking, and indexing until it is marked ready. Uploads are grouped into collections you control.

Asking questions

Ask in plain language, scoped to everything you can access or to selected collections and documents. Every substantive claim in an answer carries a numbered citation - open it to read the exact passage in the source document.

Search

Search matches both exact wording and meaning, with filters for collection, file type, and date. Results show the matching passage, its page or section, and why it matched.

Roles and access

Owners and administrators manage members, roles, and restricted collections. Viewers can read and ask; members can also upload. Collection permissions are enforced before retrieval, so answers never draw on documents the asker cannot open.

Quotas and billing

Each plan carries limits for documents, indexed pages, AI queries, storage, and seats - usage is visible in the Usage view, with alerts as you approach a limit. Trials run 14 days with reduced limits and become read-only afterwards; nothing is deleted.
